The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) decided to incorporate the mandatory automatic notification of communications in the Customs Electronic Communication and Notification System (Sicnea), through the General Resolution 4966/2021.
The regulations, published this Friday (16.04.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, specified that the intention is The measure aims to make electronic customs notifications used by foreign trade operators and other users of the customs service more rapid and effective.
The subjects that are required to adhere to this web service for the purposes of establishing an electronic address for Sicnea are auxiliaries of commerce and the customs service; and those included in article 109 of the Customs Code, including the entities registered in the Registry of Entities Issuing Guarantees, which issue guarantees for customs obligations.
Also included are importers and exporters who are users or who seek access to regimes that require certain conditions to adhere to them; the remaining importers and exporters; the representatives of the subjects listed above; and the lawyers who act as sponsoring attorneys or in the dual role of sponsors and representatives in actions before the customs service.
The provisions of this Resolution shall enter into force on the eighth administrative business day immediately following its publication in the Official Gazette.
