-

The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) renewed the preventive reference value for frozen and boneless bovine meat (0202.20.90) and with bones resulting from butchering and frozen (0202.30.00), through the General Resolution 4985/2021.

The regulations, published this Friday (07.05.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette, established for the export of this merchandise, values that range from US$ 1.05 to US$ 4,80 per kilogram, according to each of the classifications.

These reference prices apply when these products are destined for Group 23 countries: China, South Korea, Philippines, Hong Kong, Japan, Taiwan, Thailand.

Thus, the body that is part of the Federal Public Revenue Administration moved forward with the process of reestablishing reference values for different exportable products, in order to detect deviations from the usual export values for identical or similar merchandise.

These reference prices constitute a first control of the declarations in order to safeguard the fiscal interest.

The competent authority that regulates customs clearance establishes these reference prices as instruments to detect under-invoicing in exports.

If there are differences, an investigation is initiated by the DGA which may result in fines or legal complaints.

This General Resolution is in addition to the reference values for exports and the criterion values for imports reestablished in recent months.
