The General Directorate of Customs (GFA), an agency that is part of the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), established reference values for the export of hides and skins (NCM 4101.50.10), through the General Resolution 5011/2021.
According to the rule, published this Tuesday (22.06.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX), the values set in hides and skins range from 0,36 to 0,69 dollars FOB per kilo. These prices are for the countries of Group 27, 28, 29, 30 and 31: Brazil, Mexico, Uruguay, Spain, France, Italy, Netherlands, United Kingdom, Hong Kong and China, among others.
"This control is aimed at improving the value selectivity system in order to detect deviations from the usual values for identical or similar goods," the regulations state.
Reference values are a tool to dismantle tax evasion maneuvers and abusive practices that affect the entry of foreign currency into the exchange market.
The General Resolution clarifies that the measure will apply “from the second administrative business day, inclusive, after its publication in the Official Gazette.”
