Chilean officials from the National Customs Service seized in mattress un truck that came with stamps, documents, GPS and even security stickers, which was hiding 319 thousand packets of contraband cigarettes.
The procedure was recorded in such a border complex (neighboring Bolivia), when The Trans Vizfer driver presented himself before the Customs officials to enter Chile with a container loaded with silver and zinc mineralsIts cargo was covered by an international manifest and the container displayed metal and plastic security seals, as well as a GPS system that supposedly alerts against any tampering.

El Regional Director of the Iquique CustomsCristian Molina Silva said that based on various analyses, the inspectors decided to open the container and found 139 thousand packets of contraband cigarettes inside, which were stacked on top of the lead and silver mineral.
"The container had four seals and a GPS security system, however the training and experience of the inspectors allowed them to identify certain inconsistencies and they were instructed to open the container, where they found 4 packs of the Hills brand, 150 of the Eight brand and 135 of the Manchester brand," added the director.
The customs value of the goods was set at USD 44.660 and the tax evasion is 618.989.143 pesos (USD 672 thousand dollars)
The truck, the container and the cigarettes were seized and a complaint was filed for the crime of smuggling.
