Guatemala and China (Taiwan) signed a memorandum of understanding for technical cooperation in customs matters, reported the Superintendency of Tax Administration (SAT).
The Central American country's entity indicated that the document was signed on Monday (30.10.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX) by the head of the SAT, Marco Livio Diaz Reyes and the General Director of Tax Administration of China (Taiwan) Ying-Wei Peng.


The signing of the text, whose term is indefinite, will allow strengthening cooperative relations between the two entities for the exchange of information, as well as actions to prevent and combat smuggling and customs fraud.
