The Ministry of Agriculture distributed 28.538,857 tons for export of high-quality boneless chilled beef cuts, from the so-called Hilton Quota, allocated by the European Union to Argentina, for the period between July 1, 2020 and June 30, 2021.
He did it through the Resolution 151 / 2020 published this Wednesday (08.07.2020/28.500/961,143) in the Official Gazette, which specified that of the XNUMX tons assigned, it was determined that a balance of XNUMX tons will make up the Free Availability Fund.
Of the total amount distributed, 10% of the tonnage will be allocated to joint export projects undertaken by breeders' associations and small and medium-sized rural establishments dedicated to cattle breeding.
The average ton of these cuts is worth US$10.000, so it is estimated that some US$285 million will enter the country.

The list includes Logros, with 867,302 tons; Frimsa, with 763,504; Rafaela Alimentos, with 662,253; Forres Beltrán, with 629,808; Black Bamboo, with 628,309; Marfrig, with 611,364; Azul Natural Beef, with 596,934; Cattermeat, with 338,032; and General Pico y Campo y Faena, with 300 tons each.
Twelve meat packing plants with quotas ranging from 20 to 268 tons have closed the Hilton export registry.
