With just one week to go, the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025 is underway

● Investing in people: The development of human capital will be promoted, with emphasis
in equity and opportunities.
● Protect the planeta: The transition towards sustainable economies will be discussed and
resilient to climate change.
● Rebuilding trust: Public-private collaboration and cooperation will be encouraged
transparency in an uncertain global environment.
They will be addressed fundamental issues such as inclusive economic recovery,
mitigation of geopolitical impacts and a fair energy transition. In addition, the focus will be on international cooperation in the face of growing political and economic fragmentation, which affects critical problems such as inequality, food insecurity and climate change.
The role of public-private cooperation
As in previous editions, which have been held since 1988 at the end of January in Davos, this event will continue to be a platform for constructive dialogue between the public and private sectors, which could generate new announcements and alliances to jointly address global challenges.
Argentina's participation
Argentina will be present at the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025, chaired by President Javier Milei, with the authorization of Decree 17/2025. This will be the country's second participation in the event, driven by "the imperative need" to represent the National State in the international arena. With a high-level delegation, the occasion will be an opportunity to interact with world leaders, share the achievements obtained in the first year of management, as well as the challenges to be faced to boost economic growth and attract investments. In addition, the country will seek to establish the bases for future strategic alliances.
