Reference values ​​set for the export of dried plums

The General Directorate of Customs, an agency that is part of the Federal Administration of Public Revenue, established reference values ​​for the Export of dried plums. The measure is part of the process of restoring the customs control and inspection toolsReference values ​​allow for monitoring of the prices at which merchandise is sold abroad, which is used to identify possible under-invoicing maneuvers.

To establish such reference values, through the General Resolution 5072/2021 Published this Monday (20.09.2021) in the Official Gazette, the General Directorate of Customs used various internal and external sources of information. In this regard, the values ​​of exports from Argentina in recent years were analyzed, as well as databases from other countries, and work was also done with the private sector, with representative actors of the sector.

In the case of the export of dried plums, the reference values ​​apply to sales to four group of countries: Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Greece, Ireland, Iceland, Italy, Malta, Norway, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, United Kingdom, Sweden, Germany, Canada, United States, Bolivia, Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Paraguay, Peru, Uruguay, Venezuela, Belarus, Latvia, Lithuania and Russia.

The measure of the competent authority that regulates customs clearance is added to the reference values ​​previously established for exports of limes and lemons, shrimp, hides and skins, pears, apples, garlic, pork, pear tomatoes, concentrated must, blueberries, powdered milk, onions, potatoes, raisins, sea bass and beef.

The provisions established in this General Resolution will be applicable from the second administrative business day, inclusive, after its publication.
