The Honduran Customs computer system has been disrupted in some parts of the Central American country as a result of the onslaught of the powerful Category 4 Hurricane Eta, which has made landfall on its northern Caribbean coast with heavy rains and sustained winds of up to 220 km/h, the agency reported on Wednesday (04.11.2020).
«The Honduran Customs Administration informed customs users and the general population that due to the impact of tropical storm ETA, data transmission in the Automated Customs Revenue System (SARAH) has been interrupted."the statement said.
"This problem is occurring at several customs points in the country," the text says.
However, "The Honduran Customs is carrying out maintenance work to repair it, so the service is being restored in 2 or 3 hours."the agency clarified in the tweet.
