The Government simplifies regulations for agricultural producers

-

The National Government has decided to reduce this Tuesday (14.05.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX) the number of annual presentations that agricultural producers must make within the Comprehensive Agricultural Simplification System (SISA). It did so through the Joint General Resolution 5510/2024 published in the Official Gazette.

The measure of the Ministry of Economy and the AFIP repealed the Joint General Resolution No. 5.236/2022 that implemented a information regime relating to the production of grains and seeds in the certification process - cereals and oilseeds - and dried legumes; and wheat stocks the last day of the month of February of each campaign.

This information regime was applied since the 2022-2023 agricultural campaign, inclusive, and was implemented within the “Simplified Agricultural Information System – SISA”.

Simplification

Following the measure, the AFIP reported that "producers carry out Two sworn presentations per year instead of five".

And he specified: “The presentation of information on stocks and production capacity per agricultural campaign remains in force. Productive Information 1 (IP 1) is presented in the month of October of each year regarding the existence of specific products and Productive Information 2 (IP 2 ) is the agricultural area used for certain crops, which must be reported between the months of December and February of each year.”

The AFIP statement said that the annual declarations of wheat stocks for the detailed varieties (IP 3) and two grain production declarations (IP 4 and IP 5) have been eliminated.

It is a priority for the National State to establish a Public Administration in favor of the citizen. To this end, government agencies (AFIP and Ministry of Economy) aim to carry out a process of regulatory simplification, as well as the elimination of those regulations whose application no longer fulfills the purpose intended when they were issued.

Through this process it was verified that the "Traceability control of grain is duly guaranteed"with all the tools available to the Bioeconomy Secretariat and the AFIP, "even without the information provided by the regime," said the same official sources.
