With a proactive approach, the President of the Customs Brokers Union of São Paulo (SINDASP), Elson Isayama, expressed the sector's support in the face of the humanitarian emergency caused by severe flooding in the state of Rio Grande do Sul.
“We remain vigilant and active, as we did in the recent past, during the pandemic, a critical moment in which our performance was one of learning and results in support of society. SINDASP not only represents this special category in São Paulo, but also proves to be active and sensitive when it comes to humanitarian aid. And that is within our reach,” he said. The measure follows the recommendation of the Minister of MAPA (Carlos Fávaro) to attend to the affected population in line with the proposal of the General Coordination of the Agricultural Surveillance System (Vigiagro).
- Meanwhile, ANVISA arranged in the RDC No. 866 (10.05.2024) Exceptional and temporary actions for the international donation of food exempt from registration, cosmetics, hygiene products and disinfectant products subject to sanitary inspection, to combat the state of public calamity resulting from climatic events in Rio Grande do Sul.
