The Government reestablishes the Export Increase Program, extending it to regional economies

-

Through Decree 194/2023, the national Government reestablished this Monday (10.04.2023/300/XNUMX) the Export Increase Program, with which an exchange rate of $XNUMX per dollar is applied to products of the soybean complex and regional economies.

For the soybean complex, the regime will be in effect until May 31, while for the rest of the products the possibility of obtaining 300 pesos for each dollar deposited in advance expires on August 31 inclusive.

The recitals indicated that “a proportion of the resources that the State receives, in an incremental manner, from the export of soybeans and by-products, will be used to finance programs aimed at addressing the negative effects of the drought.”

At this point, the Government lists different activities in the annex, but must finish defining which ones are included.

In order to participate in this measure, the Government established that it is a requirement to comply with the price agreements for the local market established by the Ministry of Commerce in this regard, as well as with the remaining conditions established by the Ministry of Economy.
