The national government regulated the new beef export scheme through Joint Resolution 5/2021 published today (25.06.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.
The regulations of the Ministries of Agriculture and Productive Development establish the maximum and fixed monthly quota to be exported by each authorized factory or establishment, between July 1 and August 31, 2021, based on the 357.240 tons of meat products exported from July to December 2020.
The maximum quota of tons to be exported by each factory or establishment authorized during the period between June 23 and 30 will be equivalent to 25% of the monthly total, and may be requested until July 12.
In the regulations of the new beef export scheme, the following was published in an annex: List of 63 exporting meat packing establishments to which quotas are grantedThese factories or authorized establishments must register the Sworn Declarations of Meat Export Operations (DJEC), which will be charged to the monthly, maximum and fixed quota of tons to be exported.
The tons available for export on a monthly basis cannot be accumulated in subsequent periods.
DJECs that exceed the maximum quota of tons to be exported for a given factory or establishment corresponding to the month of their approval will be rejected without further processing.
Factories or establishments authorized to export may transfer, in the same period, all or part of the maximum monthly export quota that has been approved for them, to another exporter that has registered operations, or to another authorized factory or establishment.
To this end, the transferring factory or establishment must notify the National Directorate of Agricultural Commercial Control of Agriculture of the transfer, through the Remote Procedures Platform (TAD).
In this regard, the quantity of tons transferred and the complete and reliable identification of the recipient of the transfer must be indicated.
The tons that are the object of the transfer will be deducted from the quota of the transferring plant or establishment.
The provisions of the regulations come into force immediately.
