As has been happening for some time, the Ministry of Productive Development of the Nation, through different resolutions, determines the extension of the application of antidumping duties.
La Resolution 485 / 2021 has decided to continue the investigation for alleged dumping in export operations to the Argentine Republic of "Glass plates, whether or not on a support, for mosaics or similar decorations”, originating in the Republic of Turkey and the Kingdom of Thailand, merchandise classified in tariff item 7016.10.00 of the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR
Consequently, it was decided to apply a provisional antidumping in the form of a specific duty of twelve US dollars and sixty-five cents (USD 12,65) per square meter for those originating in the Republic of Turkey and fourteen US dollars with seventy-six cents (USD 14,76) per square meter for those originating from Kingdom of Thailand.
Furthermore, the Resolution 486 / 2021 establishes for export operations to Argentina of “meters of tape, except those of the type used in tailoring and non-metallic ones, of the type used for anatomical measurements”, originating in the Republic of the India (Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR 9017.80.10), the closure of the investigation and the consequent application of a definitive specific antidumping duty of zero US dollars and forty-eight cents (USD 0,48) per linear meter.
