The Government has formalized the decision that incremental exports from automotive manufacturers, i.e. those that exceed 2020 levels this year, will not pay withholdings.
Thus, with its renewed presence, the Decree 150 / 2021 Published this Wednesday (10.03.2021/2020/4,5) in the Official Gazette, it maintains the XNUMX export duties with a rate of XNUMX%, but incremental exports will be fully exempted, meaning that sales that exceed last year's levels will no longer be subject to withholding taxes.
The agreed mechanism provides that the terminals can independently access the export of cars and light commercial vehicles with a zero tariff once the level of shipments made abroad during 0 is covered, for which an analysis and monitoring will be carried out factory by factory.
This Decree enters into force immediately.
