The national government has included oxygen in the list of products that must process an export permit, within the framework of the health emergency situation taking place in the Argentine Republic and in order not to affect the care of the population as a result of the COVID-19 outbreak, through the Decree 286 / 2021.
The measure of the National Executive Branch, published this Friday (30.04.2021/317/2020) in the Official Gazette, includes the annex of Decree XNUMX/XNUMX to the oxygen (NCM: 2804.40.00) and Containers for compressed or liquefied gas, of cast iron, iron or steel (NCM: 7311.00.00).
As regards the latter product, this Decree establishes that the following are exempt: steel sheet gas cylinders used for filling 10 kilograms of a mixture of propane and butane, cylinders for compressed natural gas of the type used in motor vehicles and containers with acetone for transporting acetylene.
It is clarified that Decree 317/2020 determined that certain products must process an export permit to be issued by the Ministry of Productive Development, with the necessary intervention of the Ministry of Health.
The measure will take effect immediately and will remain in effect for the duration of the public health emergency declared by Law 27.541 on Social Solidarity and Productive Reactivation within the Framework of the Public Emergency, the official text states.
