The national government approved the list of establishments and plants that will be able to export beef under the Kosher rite to Israel, through the Joint Resolution 6/2021.
The regulations of the Ministries of Productive Development and Agriculture, Livestock and Fisheries, published this Tuesday (24.08.2021) in the Official Gazette, details The establishments and plants that will have a maximum and individual monthly export quota of 218,75 tons of Kosher beef.
According to the text, it is They must register the Affidavits of Export OperationsMeat Regulations (DJEC) made up entirely of items corresponding to the Kosher rite, in accordance with the procedure provided for by Joint Resolution No. 3 of April 19, 2021 of both portfolios.
In this way, the DJEC will be charged to the monthly, maximum and individual export quota of Kosher beef, which corresponds to the month of its approval/use and up to the maximum limit provided, so that once said limit is exceeded, they will be deducted from the general quota, provided that the establishment or plant has a balance and the application does not contain merchandise covered by Article 1 of Decree No. 408/21.
It is clarified that the tons available for export on a monthly basis may not be accumulated in the following periods, and the approved establishments may transfer all or part of the maximum Kosher export quota assigned to them to another authorized establishment or to another exporter, under the terms established in Article 6 of Joint Resolution No. 5 of June 24, 2021, clarifying that the transfer corresponds to the Kosher quota.

It should be remembered that by Decree 513/2021, an additional quota of 3500 tons per month of kosher beef was established for export to Israel, with the aim of meeting both the demand of that market, which annually imports an average of 27.300 tons from our country, as well as the Argentine slaughterhouses that made investments to adapt their facilities for kosher slaughter with the cooperation of businessmen and slaughterhouse rabbis from Israel.
