A delegation from the General Administration of Customs of China (GACC) audited last Tuesday (19.04.2022) adairy establishment for international traffic, authorized by the National Service for Agri-Food Health and Quality (Senasa) to export its production to this destination, located in the town of Rafaela, Castellanos department, province of Santa Fe.
The audit took place in the framework for the implementation of GACC Decree No. 248/21 on the reregistration of establishments, verification of the export protocol and compliance with prevention and control measures against the virus that causes COVID-19, with the aim of continuing the trade of Argentine dairy products to China.
The verification that was carried out by the virtual modalityThe event began with a presentation, followed by a review of documents and finally, a tour of the plant via video conference to inspect its hygienic and sanitary conditions. Finally, the Chinese inspectors highlighted the cordiality and professionalism of the participants. We are waiting for the report with the final result of the audit.
The National Director of Food Safety and Quality of Senasa, Alejandro Fernández, officials from the Directorate of Safety of Products of Animal Origin and the Coordination of International Relations participated, along with the agricultural advisor of Argentina in Beijing, Hernán Viola, staff from the Advisory Board and the owner of the dairy establishment.
Representing the Santa Fe Regional Center were the coordinator of Agri-Food Safety, Luis Raca; the dairy and beekeeping supervisor, Ernesto Marelli; and the head of Service of the establishment, Gustavo Suarez.
