Now, the export of fresh poultry meat is with electronic certification

-

The export of fresh poultry meat can be carried out with electronic certification through the Certification Management System (SIGCER) of the National Service for Food Health and Quality (Senasa) since Tuesday (2.1.2019), reported Senasa.

This improvement means less processing time for exporters, minimizing possible errors in the final certificates issued and a potential integration of the final documents into foreign trade platforms of destination countries, such as China, South Africa, Vietnam, Chile and Russia.

“This implementation is an achievement of the progressive and methodical work of a team of IT professionals, veterinarians and various technicians who will complete the first stage with poultry products and will continue with the remaining species during 2019," said the coordinator of Imports and Export Certification of Senasa, Andrea Bravo.

“Senasa has been simplifying procedures and improving management through computer systems to facilitate productive activity throughout each chain – and especially the final stage of product exportation –, so this achievement represents another stage of the work that in 2019 will reach all the chains and products of animal origin that Argentina sells to the world,” concluded the specialist.
