The June tax collection amounted to $298.853 billion, the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) announced on Monday (2.7.2018).

End of the paper invoice 

During the conference, the federal administrator of Public Revenue, Leandro Cuccioli, announced that "the March 31, 2019, Paper invoices will no longer be used in Argentina.”

"We are going to paperless retail trade, and this will allow us to move forward in a new control structure," he said, while emphasizing that digital billing will give AFIP the possibility of having activity data "in real time."

In this way, taxpayers will receive the ticket or invoice in a formal format and not in paper form, although if the client wants it, they can request it.

Among other specifications, Cuccioli emphasized that "the world's major tax administrations are on their way to digital VAT book, where with the purchase and sales data of each of the taxpayers, they will only have to carry out their VAT position knowing what the tax authorities know about them."
