The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) announced a year-on-year increase of 43,4% in tax collection, equivalent to 295.421 billion pesos.
According to the agency, the increase is a consequence of the boost from contributions from VAT, Income Tax, Social Security and Foreign Trade taxes.
According to official data, tax collection is 20,8% above the initial target.

As for the year-on-year variation in net VAT, it reached 46,1%, where tax VAT grew by 38,2% and customs VAT increased by 59,8%, with revenues of 87.324 billion pesos, the highest level of the year.
Earnings
Income tax collection, with revenues of 76.419 billion, increased year-on-year by 46,2%, driven by the due date for filing and paying the balance of corporate tax returns with a December financial year-end, the most important year of the year.
Debits and Credits
Regarding Debits and Credits, income reached 19.066 million, an increase of 42,9%.
Foreign Trade
In foreign trade, 19.592 million pesos were collected, with an increase in duties exporting of the 59,7%, with revenues of 10.842 million. The Rights of import reached $8.574 million, with an increase of 63,2%, reported the AFIP.
In the first five months of the year, 268.111,5 trillion 28,1 million pesos were collected, which represented an increase of 2017% compared to the same period in XNUMX.
