Export duties on agricultural goods modified

Government modified the export duty for agricultural goods, establishing that the limit will be three pesos for each dollar of the taxable valueIf applied, these limits will remain in pesos until the obligation is cancelled.

Thus establishes, the Decree 865 / 2018, published this Friday (28.9.2018) in the Official Gazette.

The measure will apply to meat, fish, milk, cereal flour, pork fat, crustaceans, peanuts, Ketchup, among others, details the annex of the standard.

Exports less than 20 million dollars

Furthermore, it is clarified that "the Exporters who in the calendar year immediately preceding the date of registration of the export for consumption have exported less than twenty million dollars, will grant a waiting period of sixty calendar days, without interest, counted from the day following the issue. This period will not apply to export operations on behalf of and by order of third parties.”

Export Simple

On the other hand, is exempt from export duty to beneficiaries of the “Simple Export” Regime.

This measure comes into force as of today Friday.
