ARCA implements changes to the SISA to promote tax compliance

-

The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) reports that, through the General Resolution No. 5.748/2025 , modifications are implemented to the “Simplified Agricultural Information System – SISA”, with the objective of promoting voluntary compliance with the tax obligations of the subjects registered in the system, regarding the Production and marketing of grains and seeds in the certification process – cereals and oilseeds – and dried legumes.

The rule establishes that, when they are detected “formal breaches”, taxpayers will have a additional period of 45 calendar days, which is in addition to the original deadline indicated in the induction notice issued by the Agency, to regularize the situation before a "new status" is assigned. This extension provides 12 days over the previous deadline, which ended on August 31, 2025.

The measure is based on the experience gained since the implementation of SISA and seeks to provide greater flexibility to producers and operators in the agricultural sector, promoting transparency and proper tax practices.

The amendment will come into force as of September 1, 2025.
