ARCA updated the rates for extraordinary customs services since May

The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA) updated the regime of extraordinary customs services through the General Resolution 5834/2026, published today (20/04/2026) in the Official Gazette.

The regulation approves new fee schedules for services provided by customs personnel outside of regular working hours. According to the annexes, the rates will take effect on May 2026.

Extraordinary services include the auditing, verification, and control tasks performed by the customs service. at the request of users on non-working days or outside of normal hours, and are subject to the Extraordinary Services Rate.

The update responds to what was planned in the Article 773 of the Customs Code and the salary increases for staff covered by the Collective Agreement for the sector.

The annexes incorporate the new tariff schedules for the different staff categories and to operations related to the control of means of transport and border operations.

They also remain additional per zone, surcharges of 50% or 100% depending on the schedule, and travel expenses in accordance with current regulations.

The measure impacts importers, exporters, customs brokers, carriers and logistics operators who require customs assistance outside of regular business hours.
