Angel Elias was appointed Vice-Chairman of AAPA in Latin America

Ángel Elías, president of the Rosario Port Administration Authority (ENAPRO) and of the Argentine Port Council, was appointed Vice-Chairman of the Latin American delegation of the American Association of Port Authorities (AAPA) during the 107th convention of the North American entity. Giovanni Benedetti, Director of Marketing and Sales of the Sociedad Portuaria Regional de Cartagena SA, was also elected Chairman.

The international meeting, held in Valparaiso, Chile, debates the present and future of the port industry year after year, focusing the theme of this edition on the incorporation of new technologies, open innovation and the promotion of actions that improve the efficiency of the port industry within the framework of sustainable development objectives.

“The appointment of Vice-Chairman of the Latin American delegation of AAPA is an honor for the port of Rosario and a merit of the work team that we have been carrying out with Enapro. In addition to this recognition, there is the effort and joint work with the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transportation of the Province of Santa Fe and the Secretary of Transportation of the local Government,” said Elías.
