AFIP: Interim Heads are appointed within the Valuation Directorate

-

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) announced on Friday (15.03.2024/XNUMX/XNUMX) the Provision 159-E/2024 through which functions are terminated and 9 officials are appointed within the scope of the Directorate of Valuation and Document Verification.

The provision indicates in the recitals that Decree No. 618/97 empowers AFIP to organize and regulate the internal functioning of the Agency in its structural, functional and personnel administration aspects, and it is its responsibility to evaluate the opportunity, merit or convenience of exercising said powers and/or discretionary faculties.

It also points out that the power has a particular institutional relevance in the case of the Administration due to the strategic function of the service (Art. 4º CN) referring to the management of the tax, fiscal and customs policies of the National State.

The agency also maintains that the measure has the approval of the Directorate of Valuation and Document Verification, the General Subdirectorate of Customs Control and the General Directorate of Customs.
