The Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) will sign an automatic information exchange agreement with Brazil on Friday, March 17, which will allow identify properties, and other assets, that Argentines have in that country.

This agreement provides for the cross-referencing of information from fiscal periods prior to the current year, AFIP highlighted in a press release.

The head of the AFIP, Alberto Abad, traveled to Brasilia in October of last year and as a result of his official work he collected a series of data on Argentine holdings in that nation.

Brazil then reported on bank accounts of 11.000 Argentines, of which the 134 most important ones amounted to 90 million dollars, in addition to real estate transactions of 1.106 Argentines, among which, the 142 most relevant cases amounted to 140 million of the same currency, in addition to cars.
