The Federal Administration of Public Revenue confirmed on Wednesday (20.3.2019) that it will make changes to the door-to-door service to speed up international purchases and receive them through the postal service.
The new feature is that 12 tax-free shipments of US$50 per year will be allowed into the country, which will double the amount currently set at US$25.
The most important thing for users is that they will not have to go to Customs to pick up the purchase., a process that could take long hours.
Along with the streamlining of procedures, the maximum purchase amount (up to 3000 dollars) and weight (up to 20 kg) will be increased.
