The National Customs Directorate (DNA) reported that the country's customs administrations will operate normally on Wednesday, despite the holiday declared by the Presidency of the Republic for Public Servant Day.
The statement says that the institution recognizes "the work of public officials on a day commemorating the date, striving for the professional development of all its members."
The document adds that "nevertheless, the challenges inherent to customs management and the interrupted flow of international trade force us to maintain compliance with the goals to satisfy the demand for resources foreseeable by the State and honor its commitments."
The institution announced that Customs and its dependencies, without exception, will provide services during regular business hours as they have been doing regularly on Wednesday, February 27.
