The inspectors of the National Customs Service of Chile found two modified revolvers, 97 ammunition y 4 kilos 726 dPlease intervene to four passengers from a bus that was moving from Calama to Coquimbo (north). The detection was recorded in the special surveillance perimeter of Garita La Negra, south of Antofagasta, a statement said.
The Regional Director of the Antofagasta Customs, Francisco Romero Papasideris, explained that the specialized teams of the Customs Drug Unit have set up a special surveillance program at different control points. The student was finally arrested and was found carrying 619 grams of cocaine hydrochloride in his shoes and another 164 grams in his clothes. He was also hiding two blank-firing revolvers specially modified to use ballistic projectiles and two boxes with 97 .22-calibre Remington rounds in his trousers.
All the accused, along with the evidence, were handed over to the police for safekeeping and transfer, according to a statement from Customs.
