Customs resolves 10 tariff classification queries according to the NCM

The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) published the response to 10 queries on tariff classification of goods according to the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM), through the General Resolution 5726/2025.

The administrative act was formalized today (July 17.07.2025, XNUMX) in the Official Gazette. According to the text, the inquiries were submitted through electronic files processed between 2023 and 2025, in accordance with the procedure established in General Resolution No. 1618/2003, which stipulates that, for this type of procedure, the submission must have, at the option of the interested party, the sponsorship of a customs broker or a legal professional.

Following a technical analysis carried out by the competent areas, the following were issued: Classification Criteria No. 41/25 to 50/25, which establish the corresponding tariff framework for the products in question. These criteria can be found in the annex to the standard.

The resolution is effective immediately and applies throughout the national territory.
