Customs updates reference values ​​for beef cuts

The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) updated reference values ​​for beef cuts for export, through the General Resolution 5096/2021.

 The measure, published this Monday (08.11.2021) in the Official Gazette, affects shipments destined for the countries that make up Group 23, made up of  Democratic Republic of Korea, Republican Republic of Korea, China, Philippines, Taiwan, Japan, Thailand and Hong Kong.

The regulations also establish that The following reference values ​​are rendered void: currently in force.

The competent authority that regulates customs clearance explained that this control is aimed at improving the selectivity system in terms of value in order to detect deviations from the usual values ​​for identical or similar goods. In this regard, it highlighted that, for the evaluation of risks, A study was carried out on the value of the merchandise.

This General Resolution will enter into force from the second administrative business day, inclusive, after its publication in the Official Gazette.
