The Customs Collection and Control Agency, through the General Directorate of Customs, has issued the General Resolution 5597/2024 which establishes the Classification Criteria Nos. 136/24 to 150/24 for merchandise according to the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM).
The resolution, published today (07.11.2024) in the Official Gazette, responds to queries about 14 files Electronic of goods included in the aforementioned nomenclature. The General Director of Customs, in exercise of the powers granted by articles 4 and 7 of Decree No. 618 of July 10, 1997 and its amendments, as well as the Decrees No. 953 and 954 of October 24, 2024, approved such criteria after the intervention of the corresponding technical areas.
In addition, this resolution has been disseminated through the Bulletin of the General Directorate of Customs and its communication to the national authorities of the MERCOSUR Member States, in accordance with the relevant Classification Criteria.
