During the union mobilization called for midday this Monday (17.9.2018) by the Association of Fiscal Employees and Public Revenues (AEFIP), Protesters caused serious damage by breaking one of the access doors to the first floor of the organization's headquarters, a few meters from the office of the federal administrator, Leandro Cuccioli.
This message of violence is in contrast with the channel of dialogue that AFIP maintains permanently open with the two unions that represent the organization's workers.
We repudiate this act as well as any other display of violence, and We emphasize the need to demonstrate peacefully and without causing harm. the assets of the organization, which ultimately belong to all citizens.
On the other hand, We apologize to taxpayers who have been harmed by the lack of attention to the public in which different departments of the DGI, as a result of the union conflict.

It should be noted that the union representing customs workers, SUPARA signed the collective bargaining agreement two months ago with an 18% salary increase, while the other union, AEFIP has not accepted none of the many proposals that have been formulated.
Despite this intransigent attitude, the Ministry of Labor has granted an increase to employees of the General Tax Directorate (DGI) and the General Directorate of Social Security Resources (DGRSS), similar to that signed with SUPARA, of 18% plus a fixed sum.
