The Registry of Exporters and/or Importers of animals and plants was eliminated by the National Service of Health and Agri-Food Quality (Senasa).
This is established by the Resolution 76 / 2019 within the framework of the State Modernization Plan, in order to advance towards a paperless administration, integrating the information and systems of the different national State agencies.
Integration of Senasa and Customs
The joint work of Senasa and the Secretariat for Productive Simplification of the Ministry of Production and Labor managed to integrate the health agency system with the General Directorate of Customs which maintains a Register of Importers and Exporters that includes all activities and products, making duplicate registrations unnecessary.
In the event that the current health regulations require that the interested party be registered in the Registry of Importers and/or Exporters that are being eliminated, Senasa will obtain the information on its registration in the Registry of Importers and Exporters of the General Directorate of Customs dependent on the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP), without the need for any additional procedure on the part of the interested party.
Streamline user management
Simplifying such procedures helps reduce user processing times. With the systems of different public bodies interacting autonomously, progress continues towards a paperless national public administration, in line with the Good Practices in Simplification established by Decree 434 on State Simplification.
