Last Monday (24.10.2022) the second meeting of the Central American Customs Committee was held, within the framework of the Pro Tempore Presidency held by the Guatemalan Customs.
During the day, the Customs Directors receive reports of results and progress of the Technical Groups:
- Regulatory and IT
- Risky
- Authorized Economic Operator
- CAUCA/RECAUCA Drafting Committee
- Central American Commission for the Customs Valuation of Merchandise
The meeting was attended in person by Duayner Salas Chaverri, Chief of Staff of SIECA; and Werner Ovalle, Customs Superintendent of SAT and Pro-Tempore President of the #CentralAmericanCustomsCommittee.
Likewise, the virtual assistance of the Customs Directors of Costa Rica, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua and Panama was counted on.
