Within the framework of what is established in the Customs Code regarding the guarantees for registration in the registry of Importers, Exporters and Foreign Trade Auxiliaries, the Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) has proceeded to extend the validity period of the solvency documents presented until November 24, which enable the continuity of operations of those registered in the "Special Customs Registries."
This is established by the General Resolution 5095/2021, published this Tuesday (02.11.2021) in the Official Gazette, whose article 1 states: "Extend until November 24, 2021, inclusive, the validity of the solvency accredited by importers, exporters and auxiliaries of trade and customs service."
If customs operators do not comply with the requirements indicated by November 24, the solvency required to operate within the "Special Customs Registers" will automatically expire, the regulations clarify.
