The national government decided to extend until March 31th 2022 the deadline for new authorizations for export destination applications through the General Resolution 5132/2021.
In the regulations, it is determined that the measure will govern the approval provided for by theGeneral Resolution No. 5.102 until December 31, 2021 for the deadline for export applications, precisely for cases that justify it to grant the rehabilitation of export applications.
In the recitals of this regulation, it is indicated that the reasons that justified the previous general resolution still persist, related to the pandemic declared by the COVID-19 coronavirus and its impact on Argentine export trade, for which reason it is considered appropriate to extend until March 31, 2022, the period authorized by article 1 of that regulation.
So then, It is determined to extend until March 31, 2022 -including- the period indicated by article 1 of General Resolution No. 5.102, for the granting of a period, no longer than the original, for those cases in which the rehabilitation of the request for export destination -provided for in section 3 of article 38 of Decree No. 1.001/82 and its amendments- is insufficient for reasons of force majeure duly accredited before the customs service.
This resolution shall enter into force upon its publication.
