SMEs: Afip extends payment of export duties

The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) extended until the December 31 the benefit that enables micro, small and medium-sized exporting companies to postpone the payment of Export Duties.

This is established by the General Resolution 4862/2020, published this Monday (30.11.2020) in the Official Gazette, which allows companies with tax or social security debts the possibility of making use of the postponement period for the cancellation of said tax obligations.

Thus, The measure allows these exporting firms to postpone the payment of Export Duties by submitting a sworn statement as a guarantee.Current regulations offer SMEs the possibility of deferring payments between 15 and 120 days, depending on the amount exported or the type of merchandise.

This general resolution shall enter into force immediately.
