For the sixth time, the Customs Directorate approved the international audit of its Quality Management System by the company SGS Paraguay SA, in an uninterrupted period of 14 years.
With this you receive the Recertification to ISO 9001 Standard for three more years.
The recertification of the Quality Management System harmonized jointly with the MECIP Minimum Requirements Standard contributes to the strengthening of internal control through tools called process maps, procedures, measurement indicators, standardization and simplification of processes, aimed at customer satisfaction and mainly at the mission management of the Institution committed to continuous improvement of processes.
The quality management assessment began in 2007, which led Customs to redesign its infrastructure and make internal changes aimed at obtaining quality certification.
Thanks to the International Certification, Customs is positioned among the few institutions of the Paraguayan state that has a multi-site quality tool such as ISO 9001:2015, whose scope covers 26 Customs Administrations distributed throughout the national geography.
The recently obtained recertification covers 12 customs regimes and 10 administrative processes that include area management and operational coordination in the capital.
