WTO shows global trade to lose momentum in Q3

-

Global trade in goods is likely to lose momentum in the third quarter as Trade tensions are delaying export orders and car production and sales, the World Trade Organization (WTO) said on Thursday (9.8.2018).

The WTO's quarterly outlook indicator showed a reading of 100,3, up from 101,8 in May and 102,3 in February, signaling "a slowdown in trade growth in the coming months in line with the medium-term trend," the WTO said.
