The General Directorate of Customs of Argentina communicated this Monday (18.04.2022/XNUMX/XNUMX) new opinions of technical guidelines for tariff classification in the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM), to certain merchandise, through General Resolution 5184/2022.
The regulations, published in the Official Gazette, indicated that the Classification Criteria for the merchandise required for the respective tariff classifications were issued within the framework of the powers conferred by Decree No. 618/1997 and Provision No. 204/2017.
In this regard, the new opinions of the General Directorate of Customs are detailed in the following annex:
It is recalled that tariff classification opinions are technical documents containing a detailed description of the physical and technical characteristics, as well as the type and nature of a good, providing a common customs language. In this way, it constitutes an ideal tool for facilitating the international logistics chain.
