The Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP) appointed the Legal Directorate of the General Directorate of Customs to Dr. Virginia Edith Alapont, through the Provision 90/2024.
The new Interim Director of the aforementioned Department is not only a legal veteran but is also a technical official, with regular participation in the academic field.
She worked for years as a Tax Representative, achieving the rank of Head of the Tax Cases Division, Firm Responsible for the Division in the 3rd Secretariat of Action, to finally become the Firm Responsible for the Judicial Department.
She obtained her bachelor's degree from the University of Buenos Aires, and currently works as coordinator of the Diploma in Customs Law at the Catholic University of Córdoba.
His appointment is a guarantee of technical solvency and expertise for the renewed customs ranks.
