The Director General of Customs, Guillermo Michel, met this Monday (05.06.2023/XNUMX/XNUMX) with authorities from Homeland Security Investigations (HSI), of the United States Department of Homeland Security, at the headquarters of the Argentine Customs, (City of Buenos Aires).
According to official reports, the objective was to deepen the topics covered in the Meetings that Michel held in Washington DC, last March, when he was part of the delegation that accompanied the Minister of Economy, Sergio Massa.
The meeting was attended by Katrina W. Berger, Acting Executive Associate Director of HSI; David Magdycz, Deputy Assistant Director of HSI; and Christian J. Ammons, HSI Regional Attaché for Argentina, Chile, Paraguay and Uruguay; in addition to the entourage that accompanied them.
At the meeting, the authorities “finalized ways to accelerate the exchange of information with the Trade and Transparency Unit (TTU).”
