In line with the above, prior to the Meeting of Presidents, the MERCOSUR decision-making bodies—the Common Market Council (CMC), the Common Market Group (GMC), and the Coordination and Monitoring Committee (CCM)—meet, along with the Ministers of Economy and the Presidents of the Central Banks, to coordinate the bloc's internal and external agenda. This meeting is a central component, as it contributes to the sustainable development strategy and the international integration of the region's countries.
