The Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA), through the General Directorate of Customs, formalized new tariff classifications of goods in the MERCOSUR Common Nomenclature (NCM), the tariff instrument of the regional bloc.
This is established by the General Resolution 5802/2025, Published today (December 22, 2025) in the Official Gazette. The regulation brings together in a single resolution the classification criteria Nos. 63/25 to 75/25, issued from consultations processed in accordance with the procedure provided for in General Resolution No. 1618 of 2003.
The resolution is strictly technical in scope, as it is limited to placing certain goods in the corresponding positions of the NCM.
To that effect, andThe Annex to the measure includes thirteen products cconsulted.
The resolution takes effect immediately and was communicated to the MERCOSUR Technical Committee No. 1, in line with the regional harmonization process of tariff classification criteria.
