La Federal Administration of Public Revenues (AFIP) published the minimum amounts from which banks must report movements in bank accounts and cards of taxpayers throughout the country.
According to General Resolution 5138/2022, published this Thursday (27.01.2022) in the Official Gazette, will increase the minimum amount from which financial institutions must report debit card consumption from $10.000 to $30.000.
The regulations also provide that: $30.000 to $90.000 is the minimum amount to report monthly credits, monthly withdrawals, account balances and fixed-term deposits.
"The changes allow financial institutions to streamline their operations and the agency to optimize the information it receives automatically and permanently on monthly credits, withdrawals, account balances, term deposits and card consumption," AFIP said in a statement.
The regulations introduce improvements in relation to the information reported by banks on the movements of special accounts created for the repatriation of assets abroad linked to the Extraordinary Solidarity Contribution.
Also on those provided for by the Standardization Program of the Argentine Federal Construction Incentive Law and Access to Housing.
