Customs sets criteria values for the importation of various products

-

The General Directorate of Customs (an agency that is part of the Federal Public Revenue Administration) established preventive import criteria values for auriculares y polyester textiles, as well as, tuning machines y artificial teeth.

This is established by the General Resolutions 4961/2021, 4963/2021, 4964/2021 y 4965/2021, published this Wednesday (14.04.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette.

The fixing and modification of the values for headphones, tuning machines, polyester fabrics and artificial teeth establishes minimum prices that these products must have if they are imported from China, Philippines, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Vietnam and Hong Kong.

In the case of polyester fabrics and acrylic artificial teeth, tariff items were added to complement those already existing in the event that they come from both of these Asian countries such as Brazil, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, Paraguay, Uruguay, Japan, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, Holland, Portugal and Germany.

It should be noted that the preventive import criteria values for any of the goods included in the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM) constitute an important tool to combat tax evasion and under-invoicing practices in import operations.
