The General Directorate of Customs (DGA) established criteria values for the import of radiators for central heating, through the General Resolution 4952/2021, published this Monday (29.03.2021/XNUMX/XNUMX) in the Official Gazette,

The standard defines the Criterion values for the import of non-electric central heating radiators and for those that are bimetallic with an aluminium outer surface and a steel core.

The Customs Office headed by Silvia Traverso, within the framework of risk assessment tasks, conducted a study on the value of the goods affected by this regulation.

Criterion values are a tool that allows us to detect abusive maneuvers in foreign trade, such as under-invoicing or over-invoicing in imports.

The measure covers imports from China, Japan, South Korea, the Philippines, Taiwan, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, Hong Kong, Iran, Romania, Turkey, Belgium, Denmark, Spain, France, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal and Germany.

The criterion values are added to the reference values for different products set by Customs, which are for the case of exports.

In a statement, the DGA stressed that “the prices set by Customs constitute a first check on the declarations made by operators in order to safeguard the fiscal interest and also establish a reference to identify irregularities that impact the foreign exchange market.”

"In 2020, DGA investigations allowed it to identify and report more than 2.800 abusive maneuvers in foreign trade operations. The irregularities detected exceed US$ 330 million in over- and under-invoicing of imports, and under-invoicing of exports," the agency stressed.
