Customs holds a conference to address the update of customs valuation

The General Directorate of Customs will carry out a free day of updating in customs valuation at the University of Salvador, calling on recognized specialists in customs law, where the next November 10 a constructive dialogue between public and private sector representatives.

Customs valuation is a topic that has generated many technical-legal controversies and, today, is considered one of the most complex subjects of customs law.

The event will take place from the 9:30am. at the “San Ignacio de Loyola” Auditorium of the University of El Salvador, located at 1845 Tucumán Street in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires, beginning with the opening ceremony by the Director General of Customs, CP and Attorney Guillermo Michel.

In addition, various specialists and officials from AFIP, the National Tax Court and other organizations related to customs law will participate in the various panels.

According to the organizers, the main objective is to understand the customs community, and customs officials in particular, on those issues that currently present difficulties, thus seeking "excellence in public service."
